Returns/Exchange/Damages
You may return your purchase within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding our shipping and handling costs. Because this website offers free shipping, any returns other than damage, manufacturing defect, the wrong item was sent, will have to pay the original shipping cost, and the return freight costs.
The manufacturers of the items on BestOutdoorGrills.com have a strict return policy regarding Chimineas, Fire Pits and all other products. Since most of these items are heavy, the shipping and handling costs to return these products often equals the value of the item. Therefore, there should be no returns unless the wrong item was sent or a manufacturing defect exists.
-There is a 30% restocking fee on merchandise returned/exchanged for any reason other than product defect or damage. This restocking fee is from the product manufacturer, The Star Carlton Company did not determine the value of this fee, nor did we add onto this fee for any profit.
-Customers should inspect their package immediately upon receipt for shipping damages. If any packaging damage is evident, they must immediately note this to the carrier and it should be documented. The Star Carlton Company must be notified within five (5) business days of receipt of any damaged product. We cannot take responsibility for shipping damages after this point.
-Where credit has been granted, please allow up to 21 days for the credit to be applied to your account or refunded to you credit card.
-If material is to be returned, you must call us for a Return Material Authorization number (RMA). Once you receive the RMA number, the number must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned box. If this number is not on the box, it may be refused at our facility.
-Customers should call or email us to resolve any refunds, returns, damages, exchanges or any other issues.
-For all damage or defective product claims, photos must be supplied of the product and packaging.
-Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of the package. The damaged package will be returned to us and we will send you a new one. If you refuse delivery, please notify us so that we can expect the return shipment.
-If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us right away. Speed matters since most carriers only let us file freight claims within 48 hours of delivery.
-Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days from when the shipment is received.
ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING. ANY ITEMS RETURNED IN PACKAGING OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL BE REFUSED.
Freight must be prepaid by sender.
